Job Description

Purpose of role:

The Transfer Agency Client Service team provides excellent levels of client service to all investors in a timely and accurate manner. This team is the conduit between the client and the broader Prescient Fund Services operational teams and offers excellent exposure and opportunity across various Management Companies for which administration services are performed.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Processing subscriptions, redemptions and switch instructions for existing.
  • Processing static data amendments to existing investor.
  • Processing and setting up of broker/IFA.
  • Liaising with investors and brokers/IFAs on outstanding.
  • Handling FICA requirements and internal AML policy for all.
  • Liaising with internal teams to process investor.
  • Daily Finswitch file.
  • Daily reporting to asset managers for preliminary.
  • Processing and managing adhoc.
  • Implementing and maintaining process controls using workflow.
  • Management of internal relationships to ensure prompt client response. Providing support to the CRM and broader client service team with queries as required.
Required experience:
  • Relevant experience of at least 1-2 years in a similar investor services processing role is
  • Experience gained in a similar asset management / unit trust / LISP client service environment where your focus has been on processing investment applications.
Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (or study towards) a BCom, BTech Commerce, Finance, Business Administration highly advantageous.
  • Minimum Matric coupled with a relevant industry relate courses (NQF 5 /6 equivalent).
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Exposure to investment systems and workflow tools.
